Gautam Adani and Mukesh Ambani are the only two Indian names in the Informa Connect Academy report on the world’s Top 10 Wealthiest Individuals who are poised to become trillionaires within the next decade. The list is headed by Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.

The world currently has only four individuals with net worth of more than $200 billion , according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index. They are Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault. The wealthy of the planet now have their sights set on becoming the first individual to scale the one trillion mark.

As conjectures on the subject gather ground, here is Informa Connect Academy’s list of top 10 individuals set to become trillionaires within the next 10 years:

ELON MUSK

The brain behind Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and The Boring Company is currently estimated to have a net worth of $259 billion, with his wealth growing at an average annual rate of 109.88 per cent. Musk is widely seen as the individual who will first reach the trillionaire mark, by 2027.

GAUTAM ADANI

The Adani Group founder might become the world’s second trillionaire, by 2028. Although he is currently ranked at number 13 in the world billionaire index, his wealth is growing at a phenomenal annual rate of 122.85 per cent. His current net worth is $84 billion.

JENSEN HUANG

NVIDIA co-founder Huang’s net worth is $77 billion, and his wealth is growing at an annual rate of 111.88 per cent. He should reach the trillion mark by 2028.

PRAJOGO PANGESTU

Founder of the Barito Pacific Group, Pangestu has a net worth of $43.4 billion and an annual growth rate of 135.95 per cent. He is expected to surpass the $1 trillion mark by 2028.

MARK ZUCKERBERG

Meta CEO Zuckerberg is currently the second richest person in the world with a fortune worth $206 billion. His wealth is growing at an annual rate of 35.76 per cent and he is predicted to hit the trillion mark by 2030.

BERNARD ARNAULT AND FAMILY

Arnault is the chairman and CEO of LVMH, and, with an average growth rate of 29.33 per cent, his fortune is currently worth $233 billion. The Arnault family is predicted to reach the trillion mark by 2030.

MUKESH AMBANI

Asia’s richest person and Reliance Industries chairman, Mukesh Ambani is one of only two Indians on the list of trillionaire contenders. Ambani’s current net worth is $116 billion, growing at an annual rate of 28.25 per cent. He will join the trillionaire club by 2033, the report said.

PHIL KNIGHT AND FAMILY

Knight serves as the Chairman Emeritus of Nike Inc. and has a net worth of $40.9 billion. His wealth is growing at an annual rate of 7.99 per cent and he is predicted to become a trillionaire by 2030.

MICHAEL DELL

The founder of Dell Technologies has a net worth of $91 billion and his wealth is growing at an annual rate of 30.89 per cent. Dell should be a trillionaire by 2033, Informa has predicted.

LARRY ELLISON

Oracle co-founder Ellison has a current net worth of $141 billion, and his fortune is growing at an annual rate of 19.74 per cent. He is projected to reach the trillion-mark by 2035.
