His margin of victory constantly increased in the past four elections, the Aam Aadmi Party's MLA from Malviya Nagar, whom his party has fielded from the New Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, said in an exclusive interview with The Squirrels. As the interview veered towards his past, he claimed that the case of Africans in his locality was "cooked up", adding that no African plaintiff had appeared in the court but the case has been dragging on.

Bharti admitted the upgrade from Vidhan Sabha to Lok Sabha was risky, but insisted, "Unless you take risks, you won't reach anywhere."

He claimed that the charisma of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was waning, which was why they replaced almost all MP candidates.
