Lok Sabha Elections Phase 1: 102 constituencies going to polls

The Lok Sabha polls of 2024, characterized by the BJP as a milestone towards 2047 and by the Opposition as a battle for the survival of democracy, commenced today. This phase is set to cover a significant portion of the country, spanning across 21 states and union territories (UTs). A total of 102 constituencies, distributed among these states and UTs, are witnessing the exercise of democratic rights by eligible and registered voters.
