MIRV
MIRV (Multiple Independently targetable Re-entry Vehicle) technology allows a single long-range missile to carry several nuclear warheads, each capable of hitting different targets independently, vastly increasing a missile's effectiveness and complicating missile defences. Developed first by the U.S., it lets one launch hit multiple locations, making deterrence more credible and challenging interception for adversaries. Nations like Russia, China, the UK, France, India, and Pakistan possess or are developing this technology for ICBMs and SLBMs.
